ROKAE NB80 Series

The ROKAE NB80 Series represents the NB family's entry into the heavy-payload class with a 50-80 kg payload. The NB80-80/2.2 model carries an 80 kg load at 2200 mm reach, while the NB80-50/2.6 model carries a 50 kg load at 2598 mm reach; as payload increases, reach shortens. Repeatability changes accordingly: the NB80-80/2.2 operates at ±0.06 mm and the NB80-50/2.6 at ±0.08 mm. The body is rated IP65 and the wrist IP67.

We prefer a robot of this weight class in heavy-part handling and machine feeding cells: we deploy the NB80 Series in cells where castings, metalworked parts or large-volume parts are transferred from one station to another. The floor- or ceiling-mounting option provides flexibility in positioning the robot according to the line's existing layout.

The NB80-80/2.2 is suited to heavier but closer-range work; the NB80-50/2.6 to cells that need to move a lighter load to a more distant point. In custom machine and assembly projects, we select the right one of these two models according to the weight of the part and build it as a turnkey robot cell.
