ROKAE Integrated Control Series

The Integrated Control Series is not a separate robot family; it is a version of the ROKAE CR and SR cobots in which the control unit is placed inside the robot body (built-in controller) rather than in an external cabinet. The model codes come from the same base model family as their counterparts in the CR Series and SR Series, but without the letter 'C' at the end of the code: for example, the counterpart of the CR7-7/0.98C model from the CR Series is CR7-7/0.98 in the Integrated Control Series. The series comprises seven models with a payload range of 3-20 kg and a reach of 705-1798 mm; all are 6-axis and rated to IP54.

When a customer says 'I don't want a separate cabinet, my space is tight,' we turn to the Integrated Control Series: because there is no external control cabinet, there is no need to set aside separate space for a cabinet within the cell, and the robot is operated via a Notebook, xPad or Interactive Panel. This keeps wiring and layout far simpler on tight assembly lines or at screwdriving and poka-yoke stations added later onto an existing workbench.

Thanks to extensive I/O and communication support (Modbus TCP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, CC-Link and CC-Link IE Field Basic), we integrate this collaborative robot directly into the existing PLC infrastructure. On assembly, screwdriving and poka-yoke cells where projects have no room for a separate control cabinet, we choose the Integrated Control Series and build it as a turnkey robot cell.
